Packed in Pack Meeting

Snapped a picture of all the kids together, haven't done that in a while.

Bradley got his Bobcat. They hang him upside-down so he will to do a good turn (deed) before he can turn his pin right side up.

Tyson and three other boys got their Arrow of Light (the Eagle of cub scouting) Award. The best part is when they get to bridge (walk a suspension bridge held up by fellow scouts).

Non Pictured Notables

We've been busy this spring with baseball, but other events that the camera didn't make it to include:
-The boys went to a Mariner's game
-The Artwalk at school
-The Fathers and Sons and Father Daughter campouts
-I taught nutrition to the school at a Relay for Life Event
-The kids and I went to Richland for Memorial Day while Rick went to Pennsylvania for his Grandma Rock's funeral.

Minute to Win It Party

For Tyson's 11th Birthday we put on a party based on the show Minute to Win it. It was perfect for a big group of boys. We went to the church to have the competition, which included 10 different games. Then we came back and ate and the kids hot tubbed. If you haven't seen the show check it out on NBC, Wed at 7pm.

Tyson got some great presents for his birthday including a sleeping bag, digital camera, wii baseball game, pull up bar, games, etc.

My favorite part of the party was after I had been watched in awe the boys ran in and out of the hot tub with squirt guns and bowls of ice water etc, and Tyson looked at me with a straight face and said "that's what we do."

Mom's Day 2010

It was a true Mother's Day including sick kids, crying kids, making dinner, cleaning up, kids eating my candy bar from church and all denying it!, etc. But hey, that's what I signed up for! There was a silver lining. This fabulous painting that Bradley made for me at school. I hung it on the wall the same day. What a gem. Love it.
