So last night we're having Family Home Evening. The topic was natural consequences, directed at Bradley because he made a bad choice on Sunday and got grounded for the week. So we're talking about when Lehi's family was on the boat and Laman and Lemuel tied Nephi up. We asked Bradley what happened next. Instead of saying that the Liahona stopped working he said "I came down from heaven and landed on the boat!" We all got a good laugh out of that one.

The Writing is on the Wall
Or was that ' The Hair is on the Floor'? Yes, it's true, the boys FINALLY got a haircut. The trendy hair had to come to an end. The parents couldn't take it anymore (and that was when it was combed)!
So, to fulfill a boy's wildest dreams, we gave him a mowhawk. It lasted for about 10 minutes. Then, like in the Gingerbread Man story, with a little trim here, and a little trim there, slowing he ended up with a nice short cut (as did Bradley), I mean, 'fauxhawk', yeah, that's what I gave them :-).
Ahhhh, much better.

Tyson's first scouting achievement
Tyson earned his Wolf Rank at Pack Meeting this week. He also earned a gold arrow and six silver ones as well as three more beltloops. He has worked hard this year and really enjoyed scouting. Congratulations Tyson!

What it's like to have a 2 year-old around
Then on Monday, while I was blogging, Bradley gave Kate some 'lotion', which she put all over her arms and then all over her hair. Turns out it was Elmers glue. That was fun. Always something new and fun with a two year-old (and a ever-so-helpful older brother).

Take me out the the ball game
It started out like most first t-ball games, raining. Bradley was SO excited and having a great time. He had a solid first hit. He ran to first, Hunter hit and he ran to second. And while on second base he was SO excited when the next hitter hit the ball right to him. He got this excited look on his face, and fielded just like he'd been taught. He grabbed it and threw it to first. With some coaxing from Hunter he then ran to third. Wow, our star player, he can run and field the ball at the same time! Way to go Bradley. It was a crowd pleaser atleast.

Four places I would like to be right now:

Spring Break Fun
Although, as crazy as it sounds the weather was much nicer for mid-winter break in February, but we have still managed to have a nice Spring Break. We repeated going to the Federal Way Community Center because they have such a great pool including a lazy river, big water slide, water toy (as pictured above), and Bradley's favorite - a hot tub. We also went back to the dollar theater and saw 'The Chipmunks' which kept us all laughing. The kids have also played with friends, gone to the park, and played t-ball and baseball. We even went to see dad play in the church regional basketball tournament. They still have a birthday party, Woodland Park Zoo, children's museam and BYU baseball game to go...

Kid Photography
Here are some selections of photography from our digital camera. I find that about 90% of our pictures are taken by the children. Now that our camera is starting to make a clicking noise when it turns on and off, I think it's time for this habit to stop. It also makes finding the photos I have taken very laborious. On the flip-side, they are somewhat interesting. A fresh perspective. Below is my favorite. I'm not sure how that was taken. Or maybe our blinds are growing hair. I don't clean them as often as I should!

First Pinewood Derby
Last minute preparations...
Well, there was no beginners luck for us, we were 'greenies'. Tyson's 'Cash Cab' didn't perform as well as he had hoped. But he came home happy, winning a second place medal for 'most original' and an honorable mention ribbon for the 'crazy taxi award.' They had fun working on it together. Great work Tyson and Dad.

Science Fair Fun
Tyson had a very popular display at the science fair because he was handing out samples of his three cakes. He made one with baking soda, one with baking powder, and one with neither. He had fun watching their reactions and learning about the effect they have in food. And the best part... his teacher said "I didn't know that."

Another haircut at our house???
So last night, after a particularly exhausting day, I was visiting with a visiting teachee in the living room while the kids were upstairs taking a bath. Bradley comes downstairs and in his cute/guilty sort-of way says "Mom, I cut Tyson's hair", to which I think 'what next?'. Bradley follows with "April Fools!" He seriously got me. He'd been scheming all day. Congratulations Bradley! I love you.

Good Mom, Bad Mom???
So tonight I was trying to serve a quick and easy dinner because I was hosting a get-together later and wanted to kitchen to stay clean. Tyson was hungry right after school so I served him up his pork sandwich (on a whole wheat bun), and he replies "is that all, because I like tomato or spinach on my sandwiches?" I thought 'am I bad for serving him an all meat sandwich (I hadn't pulled out the carrot sticks yet), or was I impressed that he was atleast requesting tomato and spinach (which Bradley is always excited about, because I've told them it's a SUPERFOOD.)
??Not sure,
Angie (Mom/R.D.)

Wanna call God? Kate knows how
So today I'm in the office trying to help Rick with the taxes and Kate comes to me with the phone. Someone is talking and she pronouces "it's God!" It was really the operator saying she had misdialed, but you couldn't have convinced Kate of that, she was sure. In fact, I turned the phone off, trying to continue in my task and she takes the phone away and says "see I'll show you," and works on getting him back. I concluded that it be quite handy....
