In case any of you have forgotten, two year-olds have a mind of their own. Their independance starts coming out. Kate loves to be helpful. She always wants to help with dishes, laundry, and taking out the garbage. Unfortunately, at her age, sometimes it's more work than help. Sunday night Kate wanted to help Tyson bring in eggs from the garage fridge. He didn't let her carry them. Since Kate was throwing a fit, as soon as Tyson set the eggs on the counter I let Kate hold the old carton of eggs, which were just shells. As predicted, she no more than turned around and dropped them all over the floor (and that's without the weight of the actual eggs inside). Oops!
Then on Monday, while I was blogging, Bradley gave Kate some 'lotion', which she put all over her arms and then all over her hair. Turns out it was Elmers glue. That was fun. Always something new and fun with a two year-old (and a ever-so-helpful older brother).
